According to reports from Unmanned Systems Technology website and the official website of Honeywell, Honeywell Aerospace released the HGuide i700 MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) on March 9. As a commercial product, it is designed to deliver high-precision performance for unmanned systems operating in air, land and maritime scenarios.
The product integrates quasi-navigation-grade capabilities into an export license-exempt classification, offering global system integrators a new option in the field of critical sensing and navigation. It adopts the proven high-reliability sensors and electronic architecture from Honeywell’s HG3900 IMU. This compact, low-power consumption system is optimized to support long-range navigation in environments where Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals are denied or unavailable.
